I write both short fiction and creative non-fiction.
I have been short-listed twice for the CBC literary awards in the non-fiction category. Both articles centered around the experiences of a Bosnian refugee and his experiences in leaving his country and coming to Canada.

I have also written a series of articles about my experiences as a working student in the equestrian world which have been published by Gaitpost and Chronicle of the Horse. Recently these articles received an Honourable Mention in the Online Equine Related Blog category at the 2011 American Horse Publications Seminar.
